In an exclusive behind-the-scenes look, we bring to you the latest scoop on the forthcoming Rod Bond fraud film. Entitled The Tax Fraud of the Century, the film follows on from the Rod Bond Tax Fraud and HMRC documentary. Lead starring Rod Bond, an all-star ensemble cast is headed by Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Hanks. Again, under the auspices of Manchester F1 Productions, filming will primarily be completed in locations in and around Manchester, where the documentary series was filmed. We caught up with some members of the cast and crew, behind-the-scenes, as filming recommenced only last week.
On a scorching hot June afternoon, with two-metre social distancing enforced by floor signage, we arrived on location. With central Manchester once again bustling with shoppers, Spinningfields was visibly returning to a semblance of normality. A key location in the Rod Bond tax fraud documentary, we were told Spinningfields will feature prominently in the movie. Amid a strictly policed cordon, the director communicated with the crew via a radio headset. As we approached, a scene involving Rod Bond emerging from an office block was underway. The dashing heartthrob soon emerged, in a flamboyant manner for which he is known.
While officially invited to observe proceedings, as soon as he got a chance, Rod Bond ushered us over for a chat. “I’ve got two minutes, so use your time wisely,” he told us. However, in that brief two-minute chat, he revealed to us details which have so far remained a complete secret. “You won’t believe this, but we’ve already got another movie lined up after this one. We’re going to finish with this as soon as possible and onto the next project,” the star actor revealed. So, folks, you heard it here first. After the much-anticipated Rod Bond fraud movie, there is another one already in the pipeline!
